My name is Amy Lucas, and I’m a freelance graphic designer and photographer.

Growing up in Peru with culturally diverse parents, one from Japan and the other from the United States, gave me a deep appreciation for travel and sparked my initial interest in design. I threw a log onto that spark and graduated in 2014 with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Samford University – Birmingham, Alabama.

My designs incorporate photography, illustration, typography, and a unique cultural perspective to give a brand identity, credibility, and professionalism. To me, great design is striking visual communication that attracts customers and keeps them interested, connecting beauty to business.

I’ve previously worked for The Food and Agriculture Department of the United Nations, DailyDrip and Asher Riley.  Scroll down to see more of my work, or view my resumé and LinkedIn.
